When we got back from all our travels to Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, we were happy to notice that they have finished working on the street in front of the church. Yea! No more walking through the mud to get across the street.
Our sisters were transferred out of Astana. They will be sorely missed. They wanted us to have a "matchy picture". Everyone's wearing pink!
And happy day! A baptism for our sweet friend M!
The construction on the bridge has been going all summer. They took out the horse statues and put these balls up and made the staircases circular. The lights on them at night is beautiful!
Can you see the guy painting underneath the bridge? He was like Spiderman!
Another visitor from the US. Sister Katrina Sweat. She is on a Council for Religious Freedom. She told us her conversion story. Her institute director was Jeff Holland!
Fall Farmer's Market
And the traditional Kazakh swing with five or six kids on it.
And how about this 21st Century yurt with solar panels?
And another happy baptism day!
This has to be one of my favorite photos! Translating from Kazakh to Russian to English!
